The signal is transmitted via serial bits using a 2-wire network. The transmission, reception and decoding of signals takes place using the BUS software, which is found inside the microprocessors of the controllers and the peripheral units.

The BUS interface has been designed to connect heating systems and their peripherals. The technical characteristics of the BUS protocol are designed to be able to satisfy the current and future requirements of the heating systems installed with several temperature regulators, even allowing self-diagnosis to take place. Installers can easily build complex systems and manage them so that individual communication signals between different installations take place via BUS rather than through the corresponding individual cables. Once the BUS has been introduced, a simple wired device is available to connect in a heating system of several installations; the structure of the system is simple. Modifications, additions and developments could be made by the installer simply by adding the components to the BUS communication system, without having to implement complicated wiring (which could lead to mistakes).

The BUS interface can be positioned in a special compartment of the control panel and connected to the main electronic board of the boiler.
