The hydrophilic coating reduces the possibility of corrosion caused by the accumulation of water on the ribs.
The hydrophilic coating minimizes the problem of defrosting the heat exchanger in cold weather conditions (reduced freezing due to the accumulation of a smaller amount of water).
Without the hydrophilic coating, the efficiency of the heating mode in cold weather conditions can be reduced due to freezing of the heat exchanger.
