Wireless Thermostat Fer 8 RF
Description
Ferroli Fer 8 RF wireless thermostat for heating systems management.
It has the following functions:
Room thermostat: the internal temperature sensor detects the temperature and, compared to the reference value, starts or stops the heating request (depending on the programmed times). The temperature sensor is located at the bottom of the element.
Discharged battery
Frequency radio alarm on receiver.
Automatic switching to ON boiler for radio communication errors (lack of communication between receiver and transmitter).
Hysterezis ON calibration (Parameter P01); Hysteresis Calibration OFF (Parameter P02); Calibration at room temperature (Parameter P03); Radio frequency adjustment (Parameter P04); Coding between transmitter and receiver (Parameter P05).
Fer 8 RF has most of the parameters set at the factory, requiring a minimum of installation actions: the electrical connections of the receiver to the boiler, the rest, such as the connection between transmitter and receiver, etc. are already pre-configured at the factory.
FER 8RF separates the function into 2 units:
The receiver is used for electrical connections and thermal control on / off.
The transmitter serves as a user interface and as a temperature sensor / control.
The 2 units are related to radio frequency (RF). RF communication is unidirectional from transmitter to receiver, therefore the transmitter does not receive any feedback from the receiver, no alarm of lack of communication is visible on the transmitter screen.
